Fundamento Geométrico y Fórmulas de Coordenadas

Linear Perspective Projection Geometry

Linear perspective approximates how three-dimensional scenes appear to the human eye on a 2D surface. Parallel lines receding into the distance converge at one or more vanishing points (VP) situated on a horizontal horizon line.

Fórmula:
x_proj = f · (X / Z), y_proj = f · (Y / Z); Vanishing points at Z → ∞

Origen Histórico y Evolución Científica

Linear perspective was discovered in Florence during the Italian Renaissance by architect Filippo Brunelleschi in 1415 and codified mathematically by Leon Battista Alberti in his 1435 treatise De Pictura.

Sección 04 — Guía de Dibujo y Trazado

Guía Paso a Paso para Trazar en Cuadrícula de Perspectiva

PASO 01

Identify the Horizon Line & Vanishing Points

Locate the horizontal eye-level line and the left and right vanishing points (VP1 and VP2).

PASO 02

Establish the Front Leading Edge

Draw the closest vertical corner of your subject directly on the vertical guide lines between the vanishing points.

PASO 03

Recede Side Edges Toward Vanishing Points

Follow the radiating guide rays from the top and bottom of your leading edge toward VP1 (left) and VP2 (right).

PASO 04

Cut Off Depth Verticals and Add Details

Establish the back edges with vertical lines, then sketch window openings, chamfers, and bevels using the perspective rays.

Sección 05 — Calibración de Impresión

Configuración de la Impresora y Verificación de Escala

Garantizar la Precisión de la Escala Física Real

Guide rays radiate from mathematically exact vanishing points situated on the horizon line.

Sección 06 — Preguntas Frecuentes

Preguntas Frecuentes

What type of perspective does this sheet feature?
This template features a dual-station 2-point perspective grid, ideal for product design, exterior architecture, and vehicles.
Why are perspective guidelines printed in light gray?
The guidelines are printed in subtle drafting gray (#94a3b8) so they guide your pencil or ink without overpowering the finished drawing.
Can I sketch directly on this perspective grid in the browser?
Yes! Click 'Open in Virtual Studio' to draw on this perspective grid with digital pens, straight lines, and vector tools.
Is this suitable for architectural presentations?
Yes. Vector PDF export ensures high-resolution output suitable for portfolios, client sketches, and school critiques.
